'Red Cap' is a hybrid that I think was created by Altman's Nursery. But I have not been able to confirm that.
The petals are deep magneta with a hints of hot pink towards the end of the petals. 'Red Cap' is a prolific bloomer.
'Red Cap ' is semi-columnar in growth. It has short greyish spines. This one is a medium pupper.
